Cathy Jean Norman was born in California and spent her early years in Caracas, Venezuela until the age of 13. She describes her childhood as being surrounded by silent applause from a very encouraging family.
She graduated from Unity ministerial school in 1983 and went on to get 2 Master’s degrees. One master’s degree in Theology and the other in Spiritual Psychology.
After her 36 years of being in the ministry, Cathy has taken on a new endeavor. An endeavor in which her encouraging family applauds loudly! She has a passion to bring back the tradition of Sunday Family Dinners. Through her obsession with cooking healthy meals, she has been hosting meals for friends and family just about every week. A sweet time of gathering, catching up and supporting each other.
Presently she lives west of the moon and east of the sea in a little Shangri-La town called Ojai with her husband Steve and their little white dogs Pippa and Frankie. Together with their fondness for healthy cooking, storytelling and Sunday dinners with “framily”, Cathy and Steve love to travel and explore this marvelous planet we call home.
